graf 3dcellculture assists enterprises, research institutions and individual persons in in the field of 3D cell culture, it’s technologies and applications. Human three-dimensional tissue models promise new opportunities for applications in Pharma, Medicine and Clinical Care. We use our considerable experience and inherent networking ability to assist in defining optimal technologies and the best scientific and strategic direction for the implementation of ideas and concepts.

Expertise

Prof. Dr. Ursula Graf-Hausner has more than 20 years of experience in research, development, education, and project management in the field of life sciences, medicine and pharma industry. She established a research center with several research groups at Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW and led many network projects with industry and research institutions through to successful applications. She showed considerable success in attracting public and private multi-year funding for large and small projects. Publications and Awards prove her success together with her research team.

In 2010 she founded the Competence Centre TEDD (Tissue Engineering for Drug Development and Substance Testing), which meanwhile numbers some 100 members in Switzerland and abroad. As head of the Competence Centre she figured prominently in the leadership of the community and introduced new technologies such as 3D bio-printing.

In the context of various activities in associations, foundations, advisory and scientific boards she helped shape the strategy of companies and research institutions.

Network

Prof. Graf-Hausner succeeded in integrating suitable partners from industry and research with the aim of initiating successful network projects, and attracting financial support. She managed these projects through to finalization and to the provision of a reliable applications. Her network includes national and international research institutions comprising basic, applied and clinical research and technology companies, SMEs and large enterprises in the pharma and cosmetic industry. These partners cover the complete value chain.
